With the involved model "People, Photos and Photo Events", the participators of the social activities with photos (photo events) are sensed based on the combination of co-presence in photographing and the relations from the online SNS. Algorithms are proposed to build the relation of photo events. Applications based on SoPhoNet system are implemented to improve automatic photo sharing, event-based photo management and exploration of the social relations and relations of social activities beyond photos.
