Simulated annealing and genetic algorithms are two stochastic methods which are currently used for difficult optimization problems. Simulated annealing as optimization algorithm has not been used in image watermarking. So to achieve a better optimization and comparing optimization algorithms, we applied SA and GA algorithms in watermarking based on SVD. Simulation results show that the SA algorithm method has better results from the other algorithm in some attacks.
