description | In this paper, the research on deoxidization for boiler make-up water using hydrophobic polyolefin hollow fibre membrane module and a small-scale deoxidization device was introduced. Under the condition of 24.0°C atmospheric temperature, 101.3kPa atmospheric pressure and 4.0kPa vacuum, dissolved oxygen(DO) concentration in the effluent treated by the membrane module increased with the rise of water flow, and decreased with the rise of water temperature. The optimum parameter of 8m 2 membrane module was 300L/h water flow and about 25.0°C water temperature. The DO concentration in the effluent treated by the small-scale deoxidization device using membrane method was 5~30μg/L, and met the requirements of GB1576-2008 "The make-up water quality standard for Low-pressure boiler". It shows that using membrane to eliminate the DO in boiler make-up water is a new and effective deoxidization method. |
