Nonoscillation and oscillation criteria for second order half-linear differential equation with damping

For a second-order half-linear differential equation with a damping term, we establish new criteria for this equation to be nonoscillation and oscillation, respectively. Two examples are provided to illustrate the relevance of the new theorems.
