Applying fuzzy matter-element method to evaluating the green degree of ship

A method applying the fuzzy theory and matter-element analysis method is proposed to evaluate the green degree of ship whose evaluation indexes of green degree can be fuzzy, complicated and multi-hierarchical. This paper establish firstly the evaluation grades and calculate the weight of the indexes...

description A method applying the fuzzy theory and matter-element analysis method is proposed to evaluate the green degree of ship whose evaluation indexes of green degree can be fuzzy, complicated and multi-hierarchical. This paper establish firstly the evaluation grades and calculate the weight of the indexes by GD-AHP (Group Decision-AHP), then the evaluation grade of green degree is obtained with fuzzy matter-element analysis method. An example of a ship is given to verify the ability of the proposed method to evaluate ship's green degree. So the practical method provides us a new approach to evaluate ship's green degree.
