description Carrier modulation is widely used in pulse based UWB (ultra wideband) communication system to meet the frequency mask set by government. In the paper we proposed a novel quadrature mono-bit receiver for pulsed based UWB system with carrier modulation. We analyze the performance and give a solution of the carrier synchronization with mono-bit sampling.
