This paper presented the study on the above-ground biomass of larch forest in the mountainous region of Xigouli Village, Sihai Town, Yanqing County, Beijing, China, adopting computer technology and making use of survey data to perform the fitting of biomass model, based on which the biomass of larch forest was calculated. As indicated in the results, the larch forest stand had the above-ground biomass of 514.882t/hm 2 in which the biomass of tree layer is 512.272t/hm 2 and the biomass of undergrowth (shrub) is 2.61t/hm 2 . The forest stand has a high level of productivity, plays a great role and has the great potential in improving the ecological system and environment of larch forest stand. |
