description The application of ubiquitous technology in Korea has been expanded with city as the center, but establishing U-Technology utilization plan for farm village and forest is required now according to pan-national growth strategies recently came to fore including national balanced development, sustainable development, and green growth. Therefore, in order to organize the concept of U-Territory, U-Land, and U-Forest hierarchically, and to make the concept of U-Forest effective to the production, management, utilization, and distribution of forest, the utilizing of ubiquitous technology is defined as valuable forest resource, sustainable forest development, and fusion & convergence development with other areas, in this study. Forest basic plan, k-Forest, and FGIS business are considered to establish the strategy of U-Forest, the deriving of service model associated with those are proposed, and unit service model is derived. Also the need of the establishment for U-Forest basic plan is suggested, and the items required in the establishment of U-Forest basic plan are proposed.
