Equivalent circuit-based analysis of a small resonant circular aperture
In this paper, it has been found that the total admittance of the aperture becomes purely real when the transmission resonance occurs and it is related to the transmission cross section of the aperture. This work may help in understanding the filter mechanism and in designing better NSOM probe.
