Zusammenfassung: | This paper proposes a two-dimensional holographic microwave imaging technique using single-frequency data recorded by two dipole antennas scanning two separate rectangular parallel apertures on both sides of a target. The developed 2D image-reconstruction algorithm does not make any assumption about the incident field. This makes the algorithm applicable for near-field imaging where the target is close to the antenna and the spherical assumption for the illuminating wave is not valid. Also, this technique allows for the reconstruction of targets not only from the back scattered but also from forward scattered signals, which is appropriate for the case of tomographic measurement. The proposed technique can be expanded to 3D image-reconstruction by using a wideband microwave system. This development is the subject of future work. |
