The Ridgelet Transform gives better PSNR performance over a wider range of percentage of retained coefficients. By selecting proper thresholding method, better results for PSNR have been obtained. Color images in the YCbCr color model are used. Extensive analysis has been carried out to arrive at the conclusion.
