Zusammenfassung:This paper analyzes the effects of frequency error in internal signal generator for narrowband active noise control systems. Two stability conditions and the optimum step-size to achieve the minimum excess mean-square error are analyzed in the paper. The noise reduction is formulated as a function of frequency mismatch, step size, and phase error in the estimation of the secondary path. The theoretical analysis presented in the paper is verified by computer simulations.
