Taking into account the various software models of AUTOSAR application layer, we provide three diagram models to properly group the software components into four layers and a component library to improve reusability of component models. In addition, the hierarchical development of the model, along with auto-generation of XML description, is demonstrated based on the application case study of a door light control system.
