description This paper presents a series of simulation results and experimental data concerning the operation of an equipment based on power electronics placed on a tram. One toggles with problems related to electromagnetic influences from an urban electric driving system and modalities to remove them. The recordings of the current and voltage waveforms obtained experimentally during the normal running stage of the system are presented and explained. They revealed that the system was designed correctly and fulfils the EMC conditions.
