Zusammenfassung: | The hello protocol using a periodical HELLO packet broadcast is a fundamental protocol for neighbor discovery in wire and wireless networks. It explicitly doesn't take into account the loss of HELLO packet caused by interferences and collisions in the link layer. The loss of HELLO packet results in three problems: unidirectional link, the subset of neighbors and inaccuracy of neighbors. To solve the problems two RRND (reactive and reliable neighbor discovery) protocols are proposed. |
