Zusammenfassung:A number of intelligent service robots have been developed to guide a building for visitors. The robot named PHOPE to be presented is also made for guidance at indoor environment. All software components including face recognition, voice communication, navigation, touch-pad based GUI, database and TTS systems are integrated into one guide system based on PIRO Service Mobile Robot (PSMR) using TCP/IP communication. And hardware components including sensors, actuators, micro-processors and power-supply system are also integrated into PHOPE.
