MAWG: Multicasting Arrayed Waveguide Grating for WDM-PON Applications

We present a novel AWG design, which performs both the normal mux/demux function as well as a broadcast function. This enables flexible and lower cost WDM-PON architectures, which have traditionally lacked support for multicast/broadcast data.
