description The numerical investigation of physical properties of transversal slots in a rectangular waveguide partially filled with dielectric was carried out on the base of the excitation problem solution with the eigen waves method. It was shown that it is possible to find geometric and electrical parameters of the system which provide the distance between the adjacent co-phased resonance slots less than a wavelength in the free space. The level of the radiation and reflection coefficients depends on epsiv and the layer thickness. It is possible to obtain the reflection coefficient less than one in the case of the full filling the waveguide with dielectric. Thus the transverse slots in the waveguide considered can be used for construction of waveguide-slot resonance antennas radiating the field with horizontal polarization.
