Novel field oriented control of separately excited synchronous motor
A new field oriented control scheme for a separately excited synchronous motor is presented. The system uses a novel disc mechanism with two slots the width of which varies sinusoidally. With such a mechanism it is possible to dispense with costly encoders and microprocessors.< >
