4-channel Saturable Absorber Module for high bit-rate regenerated WDM transmission

A module containing an ultra-fast saturable absorber chip has been implemented with 4 independent fibres using an optimised coupling technique. Device characterisation at 10 and 20 GHz show homogeneous results among the 4 fibre ports
