Helmholtz solitons in non-Kerr media
This study reports for the first time, exact analytical soliton solutions to a generalized nonlinear Helmholtz equation. Solutions, and accompanying simulations, thus account for both the inherent symmetries of propagation problems and more realistic (polynomial-type) nonlinearities.
