Zusammenfassung: | This paper presents an adaptive approach for reactive current extraction and adaptive shunt compensation of a three-phase system under unbalanced and time-varying frequency conditions. The reactive current component is extracted based on the concept of instantaneous symmetrical components. The extracted signals are then utilized by a shunt, PWM, voltage-sourced converter to adaptively compensate the reactive power. The converter control is based on a closed-loop adaptive internal-model strategy which dynamically adjusts itself to the variations in the system frequency. Feasibility of the proposed method is illustrated in a distribution system and computer simulations are presented |
