Ku-band microwave optical emitter based on a directly modulated DFB laser
We have fabricated a high speed emitting module associating a 19 GHz-band DFB laser and an amplifier with a 5/spl Omega/ output impedance for microwave direct modulation. The bandwidth of the emitter was measured to be 17 GHz.
