Photosensitivity and photosensitization of highly phosphorus-doped fibers under 157-nm F/sub 2/ excimer laser irradiation

Photosensitivity of highly phosphorus-doped fibers under 157-nm F/sub 2/ excimer laser irradiation has been investigated for the first time, Photosensitivity as well as photosensitization effects have been found to be much stronger as compared to 193-nm irradiation.
