Zusammenfassung:This paper presents a preliminary design of a neuromorphic model of Hebbian synaptic plasticity using analog CMOS circuits. The model mimics the dynamics of NMDA and non-NMDA receptor activity and intracellular calcium level that are important for the induction and maintenance of synaptic plasticity observed experimentally in hippocampal neurons. The proposed design can be extended to a VLSI implementation of large-scale analog neural network models with the capability of learning and memory in spiking neurons.
