description We aimed to develop a new 3D reconstruction system that provides the realization of 3D space-shared communication over the network. We would like to introduce our recent result on 3D model generation research. A multiple eye stereo camera system is basically applied in this research project. The model of an object is reconstructed using the depth images grabbed by the multiple eye cameras from different viewing angles. The reconstructed models of the reference object relative to the multiple views generate the complete 3D model. By using the communication system software, which is called NetUNIVERS, the reconstructed object can be shared among the multiple places. Furthermore, the space-shared communication space can be synthesized completely with the 3D information space through this research.
