description QROUTE is a QoS guaranteed constraint-based routing protocol supporting both unicast and multicast within the same routing framework. We describe the details of the modification to LINUX for supporting QROUTE protocol stack which can coexist with other protocols; in addition we evaluate the performance of the prototype in terms of link utilization, routing overhead and call blocking probability. Finally we compare the results of the test-bed experiments with that of simulation modelling and find that they are closely agreed.
