Zusammenfassung:Numerical predictions of the coupling of energy from a simulated PED within a scaled airliner cabin to an antenna mounted on the top of the fuselage were made using the FDTD. An excellent level of agreement between the predictions and measurements were achieved up to frequencies consistent with the FDTD cell size. However, the FDTD predictions, even up to 11.0 GHz (550 MHz scaled frequency), are sufficiently accurate for engineering purposes.
