Zusammenfassung:Proton-induced spallation reactions are studied in the energy region from 300 MeV to 20 GeV. An analytical expression is derived for the production cross sections of target residues in which the incident proton energy dependence of the cross sections is described by variation of a single parameter. Rather good agreement is obtained with experiment when reasonable physical assumptions for the variation of this parameter are made.
