Zusammenfassung:In the research article by Husky et al. (2014), 42 adults patients discharged after a suicide attempt used Ecological Momentary Assessment for seven consecutive days, providing repeated measures of SI, environmental, contextual, and behavioral factors. Participants were trained in how to use the mobile device (Tungsten E2 palm) for the EMA assessments. After completion of the training, each participant was given an EMA device to carry with them for the seven next days. The greatest interest of EMA in suicide prevention data is its capacity to examine the proximal predictors of critical events within the flow of daily life.
