DENGUE: A BRIEF BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REVIEW ON VACCINES/DENGUE: UMA BREVE REVISAO BIBLIOGRAFICA SOBRE VACINAS/DENGUE: BREVE RESENA BIBLIOGRAFICA SOBRE LAS VACUNAS

Arboviruses are characterized by diseases that are transmitted by mosquitoes, as an example we have dengue, which is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti virus and is considered a type of acute infection disease which has become a very common problem capable of harming the well-being of the population. To carry out a bibliographical survey of information regarding the development of vaccines against dengue and its impact in Brazil. This is an integrative review of the literature with data taken from the research bases of the Virtual Health Library, the United States National Library of Medicine (PubMed) and Google Scholar. For the research, the Health Science Descriptors (Decs) were used: Dengue, Dengue Vaccines and Aedes aegypti, being used together with the Boolean operators AND and OR. To date, two vaccines have been approved by ANVISA in the national territory--Dengvaxia and Qdenga-- with the second being able to provide more satisfactory results than the first, mainly because it promotes protection against the four dengue serotypes . However, more research is still needed on the subject, especially because the authors reiterate that the vaccine alone is not capable of fully combating dengue, and it is essential to combine it, for example, with controlling the disease's vectors. Therefore, it is clear, therefore, that more studies are needed on this topic, so that a greater reduction in the number of dengue cases in Brazil can be achieved and, therefore, maximize the well-being of the population. As arboviroses sao caracterizadas por doencas que sao transmitidas por mosquito, como exemplo temos a dengue, que e transmitida pelo virus Aedes aegypti e e considerada um tipo de doenca de infeccao aguda a qual tornou-se uma problematica muito frequente capaz de prejudicar o bem-estar da populacao. O objetivo foi realizar um levantamento bibliografico acerca das informacoes referentes ao desenvolvimento de vacinas contra a dengue e seu impacto no Brasil. Trata-se de uma revisao integrativa da literatura com dados retirados das bases de pesquisa da biblioteca Virtual em Saude, Biblioteca Nacional de Medicina dos Estados Unidos (PubMed) e Google Academico. Para a pesquisa foram usados os Descritores em Ciencia da Saude (Decs): Dengue, Vacinas contra Dengue e Aedes aegypti, sendo utilizados juntamente com os operadores booleanos AND e OR.
