Zusammenfassung: | The cities were not built for people, especially the most vulnerable, such as children, who are constantly kept away from the urban space. Due to this and the socio-spatial inequalities, urban infrastructure and mobility problems that affect children, it is essential to implement public policies that guarantee the right of children to the city, allowing them greater social participation. In this sense, tactical urbanism presents itself as a solution to such problems, and the Mais Vida nos Morros (MVM), in Recife, is an example of this type of action. Therefore, this study seeks to analyze the MVM as a public policy, and how the political participation of the community and especially of children in it occurs. For this, the research was based on a qualitative methodology, which was developed from the formation of a linguistic corpus formed by visual and documentary materials about the MVM, gathered and interpreted into categories. The results show an effective policy and a satisfactory political participation, both from the community and the children, who have the opportunity to claim their rights and experience the materialization of their wishes, transforming the city. |
