ESTRATÉGIAS DO GOLEIRO NA COBRANÇA DE PÊNALTI

O futebol é caracterizado como um fenômeno cultural mundial em virtude do processo de massificação que contempla não só o público praticante, mas também as pessoas que apenas consomem o esporte. A análise de jogo vem sendo uma ferramenta muito utilizada para avaliar a performance das equipes e assim explorar os pontos positivos e negativos, além dos fatores que podem influenciar o resultado da partida. O pênalti é um momento muito importante para o futebol, visto que apresenta grandes índices de gol e uma alta ocorrência entre os jogos. Assim, este estudo analisou cobranças de pênalti da UEFA Champions League (2016-2020) com o objetivo de analisar as estratégias utilizadas pelo goleiro na cobrança de pênaltis e sua influência sobre o êxito nas penalidades. Os dados analisados demonstram que a maioria dos goleiros utilizam apenas uma estratégia nas cobranças de pênalti, sendo a antecipação a mais utilizada. Apesar disso, a lateralização, que seria, o posicionamento do goleiro fora do centro do gol, foi a estratégia que apresentou ser mais eficaz para o goleiro. Além disso, os goleiros apresentam melhores índices quando utilizam mais estratégias. Palavras-chave: Futebol. Goleiros. Pênaltis. Goalkeeper's strategies for penalty kicks Football is a worldwide cultural phenomenon due to the massification process that includes not only the practicing public, but also the people who only consume the sport. Match analysis has been a tool widely used to evaluate the performance of teams and thus explore the positive and negative points, in addition to the factors that can influence the result of the match. The penalty is an especially important moment for football, as it has high goal rates and a high occurrence between games. Thus, this study analyzed penalty kicks from the UEFA Champions League (2016-2020) to analyze the strategies used by the goalkeeper in penalty kicks and their influence on the success of penalties. The analyzed data show that most goalkeepers use only one strategy in penalty kicks, with anticipation being the most used. Despite this, lateralization, which would be the positioning of the goalkeeper outside the center of the goal, was the strategy that proved to be more effective for the goalkeeper.
