description Regular fruit consumption is associated with a reduction in mortality and morbidity related to chronic diseases. The Amazon has fruits with still unknown properties that may be of economic and scientific interest. The objective of the study was to gather studies carried out from 2011 to 2021 on the nutritional composition and biological activities of five Amazonian fruits. The search was carried out in the Scielo, Science Direct and Google Scholar databases. After analyzing the works, 59 articles were included. The results on the nutritional composition of the researched fruits included the parameters: pH, acidity, moisture, ash, macronutrients, fibers and micronutrients. Regarding the biological activities of Amazonian fruits, 12 activities were listed, with antioxidant activity (54.2%) being the most cited. The survey carried out allowed to expand the knowledge of the nutritional composition and to know the biological activities already reported for the studied Amazonian fruits.
