description This research had as objective to identify the perception of the participants of the Good Business Parana program, regarding the sustainable public procurement, from its perspective of potential suppliers. Note the need to explore the theme, in view of studies that show that knowledge and information on the subject are still scarce. The research has a quantitative empirical analytical approach. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and cluster analysis. The analysis resulted in five clusters, two of which best contributed to explain the phenomenon under study. It was noticed that even among the researched ones that demonstrated greater science on the subject, they would not be able to supply a demand like suppliers of sustainable public purchases. This is due to the fact that they recognize that they do not have goods and services that meet sustainable criteria. However, the respondents showed flexibility for possible adjustments. Thus, the research contributes to know possible delimitations regarding the implementation of public policies of sustainability in government procurement, opening space for discussions of improvement.
