Zusammenfassung:Reaction of 7-(thietanyl-3)-, 7-(1-oxothietanyl-3)-, and 7-(1,1-dioxothietanyl-3)-8-bromo-3-methyl-1-ethylxanthines with thioglycolic acid produced 2-[3-methyl-1-ethylxanthinyl-8-thio]acetic acids containing a thietane ring with yields of 76 – 93%. Interaction of these acids with bases (sodium hydroxide, morpholine, hexamethyleneimine) produced 2-[3-methyl-1-ethylxanthinyl-8-thio]acetic acid salts containing a thietane ring, with yields of 44 – 96%. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy data. The compounds synthesized here had potentially high antiaggregatory activity.
