The water bodies, represented mainly by the reservoir, besides some larger dams, occupied in 1984, 0.11% of the area and after the of the dam end (1987), 0.32% reaching 0.30% in 2017, indicating a negative variation in the size of the reservoir area and loss between 29.91% (2004) and 6.84% (2017) in the period studied, demonstrating a threat to the water storage capacity. The adopted study model allowed to distinguish the alterations in the landscape of the region, being a fundamental instrument to subsidize actions of preservation and maintenance of the water resources.
