The mean values for the gap detection thresholds in GIN test were around 8ms and for the RGDT test in 23,13ms. Conclusion: RGDT test presented greater sensitivity for detecting the change in temporal resolution ability. The values of temporal resolution thresholds suggested as reference values for the elderly people, are 8ms for GIN and 23.13 ms for RGDT.
