description 3D printing represents one of the newer production technologies which are becoming more and more important. The widening range of materials used in 3D printing leads to the need to examine their mechanical properties. 3D printing parameters such as infill pattern, building orientation, layer thickness, number of layers in the wall and air gap have a great influence on the mechanical properties. In this study, the mechanical properties were examined from the perspective of the influence of the raster angle and the change in the number of layers in the wall. Three different materials were tested, PLA, PETG and ABS. The results showed that the highest tensile strength was obtained with PETG material, and the lowest with ABS. From the aspect of the influence of the printing parameters, we can conclude that the building orientation and the number of layers in the wall have influence on mechanical properties of the material. Keywords: 3D printing; mechanical properties; raster angle; tensile strength; wall layers
