Zusammenfassung:A new gas-filled recoil ion separator GARIS-II was on-line tested by using two 40 Ar-induced fusion reactions of 169 Tm( 40 Ar,4n) 205 Fr and 208 Pb( 40 Ar,3n) 245 Fm, respectively. The products were collected to a focal plane with high efficiency of 47 ± 1 and 63 ± 9 % for 205 Fr and 245 Fm under low background condition.
