Zusammenfassung: | The thermal conductivity of LDPE + [C.sub.60] nanocomposites with a fullerene concentration up to 10 wt % is studied in the temperature range 20-80°C. This conductivity is found to nonlinearly decrease with increasing fullerene concentration. The decrease in the thermal conductivity of the composites is considered to be caused by a decrease in the phonon mean free path as a result of an increase in the number of scattering centers.
