Optical absorption spectra of trigonal crystal Tb[Fe.sub.3][(B[O.sub.3]).sub.4] have been studied in the region of [sup.7][F.sub.6] → [sup.5][D.sub.4] transition in [Tb.sup.3+] ion depending on temperature (2-220 K) and on magnetic field (0-60 kOe).
