The support material has openings, and the material is removed once the layer construction is complete. The minimum spacing between components is at least 0.1mm. The support material is wax and has a melting point of 60-70oC. The openings consist of tubes or grooves. USE - The process is used to produce gear wheels. ADVANTAGE - The process is quick and simplifies geometries.
