Deformation of the construction unit is done by suitable electrical control of the piezoelectric transducer in such a manner, that the ice formed on the component (1) is loosened from the component. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the icing endangered component of an aircraft. USE - For deicing of a component in an aircraft e.g. for deicing of an airfoil wing of an airplane or a rotor blade of a helicopter. ADVANTAGE - Enables reliable and in particular long-term stable deicing with small energy expenditure with low system weight and low manufacturing cost.
