Zusammenfassung:Rhizomania, sugar beet virus disease is spread almost in the whole territory of Srem (Yugoslavia). Until the end of 1985 the disease was registered on 9,910 hectares which represents 23.3% of social land on which sugar beet could be grown productively. Intensity of the disease depends, first of all, on the rotation of sugar beet in the same area and precipitations in spring and early summer.
