Zusammenfassung: | A serie of experiments were performed at the UCLA Agronomy School orchard, place located in Taraana, Lara state, Venezuela in order to study the feasilines of using the leaf nutrient infiltration technique, as a way to identify the iron deficiency in "Washington Navel" orange trees. The so called half_ leaf techniques was used, by which it is possible to have in the same leaf, the treatment under study as well as the control. The results permitted to stablish that the half-leaf technique could be considered as a pertinent and reliable technique to detect and confirm at field level, iron deficiencies in "Washington Navel" orange leaves.
