field recording Recording was made in a creek gully in spring, in bright sunshine. . . I believe bird to be in the mid canopy of yellow box gums.. . Recording has been EQ'd and normalized with some minor work to remove extraneous noise unconnected with the call. Care was taken to avoid areas with the call.. . The call abruptly stopped as I got closer.. . The bird was unseen and at an approximate distance of 300m. . . The bird resumed calling when I had moved back away to a similar distance, so it is possibly an alarm call, but I cannot be certain.; animal seen:no; playback used:no
