field recording Three adult birds seen in their long-term roost tree (palm tree). One bird flew out silently at dusk, presumably to forage. Two birds seemed to be scuffling in the tree canopy, with much thrashing about and vocalizing. After about a minute, both birds flew out, with one bird vocalizing. The silent bird perched briefly in a nearby redwood, then flew away. The vocalizing bird flew circles over the yard and then flew away.
