description | The investigations in this campaign went on up to the entranceway to the cave, where there were indications to continue with the culture layers (Coțofeni and Bodrogkeresztúr III pottery all tableted). The south and east sides were delimited. The pole and pillar structure and sometimes the vertical wattle one made it possible to reconstruct the walls, their structure and construction. The north one is being carried out. The west one was previously investigated. The occupation levels are marked by the change in the fireplace or the reconstruction of the three or four fireplaces inside, fireplaces on which metal was melted or was welded or melted. The fireplaces of the processing workshop were rebuilt on the old floor. On fireplace 3 in level 2Ba3 we found two gold beads dropped on the floor, in a crack. Thus we have the proof of gold being melted on the fireplace. We performed tests C14 on the charcoal remains. The feature is dated based on the four samples, with over 90% probability, between 4050-3800 Cal BC. |
