Raport arheologic: Bucșani/comuna: Bucșani/județul: Giurgiu/punct: La Pod (2009)

Essential results of the excavations in the Bucșani micro-region fall into the three main objectives proposed from the beginning - the development of the communities on the tell of La Pod, the cultural and chronological evolution of the micro-region, and, not least, the development of the prehistoric floodplain. The tell of La Pod has three Gumelnița occupation levels (separated by alluvial deposits). We continued and completed the investigation in Loc11, the upper level in the tell of La Pod being thus exhaustedin the areas open for investigation. In addition through successive surveys we could establish with certainty the northern boundaries, and the southern ones, respectively, of all the sites of Bucșani Forest.
